I picked up a new Stoeger Cougar 8000 last weekend NIB & 2 mags for $300.00.
I got a great deal locally with a good guy on the boards.
I shot it today and I must say, IT IS A SWEET SHOTTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At 15 yards all the rounds went into a pattern you could cover with one hand!
Man I love this pistol!
If you were thinking about buying one of these based upon my experience, don't even hesitate about picking one up!

Its definitly th best bang for the buck right now. It may seem a littl thick for some , but to me its alot better to hold onto. Very solid built gun.

Now, I just need to pick up some extra mags.
I've been looking on the web and still need to find a place to order from.

Yes, I have found additional mags.
CDNN has LEO marked high cap mags for $29.99 each.

CDNN is a gun parts shop in texas. Beretta mags came with most of the first shipment of Stoegers.Look into mags made by MDS.They are the company owned by beretta that makes all their mags. It'll save you about $10 a mag.Unless you just wan't to spend more money for different lettering on the mag bodies. :)

Thanks a bunch for the information . I guess my Stoegers mag are Beretta mags . They have "made in Italy" written down the side of the body . Both sets of my Stoeger Cougars magazines have it printed on them . I say both because I bought 2 Cougars . Both have serial numbers one right after the other , kinda cool .
