Do any of you share a scope between an M4gery and a Remington 700? If so, what is the choice of scope mounts and rings that allows you to do this easily?
I realize sighting will be necessary, but is there a set-up that get close to same p.o.a. for across the two platforms?
Thanks.

Warne makes some rings that are quick detach. I think they should work for with a proper base on the remmy. They work great with a flatop ar and are not too pricey, around $60.
I have done it just for grins with my Remington 700 that has a Pic rail from these guys.

A QD mount like a LaRue would make it easy.

I don't have a Rem 700 but I have shared scopes between ARs and other rifles. I just use a short riser and the scope and rings stay on the riser and its a simple matter to move the riser between any gun with a picatinny rail. Its amazing how slight differences in the trueness (alignment with the bore) of the rail mounts show up in a big way. I typically have to adjust not only for elevation but windage as well.
IMHO, sharing a scope between ARs is doable. Like if you are testing ammo in a new rifle and plan on using a reddot normally.
Sharing a scope between an AR and a M700 is not doable. I don't see it working.
You are better off just getting a dedicated scope for your AR. I did share a scope for a while though with my Weatherby 30.06. I used a cheap laser bore sighter. I could usually have it hitting dead on after about 3 rounds at 100 yards. I don't know if this will help but it worked for me until I could get a scope for my AR.

zeroing each rifle after re-installing the scope would quickly add up to more time/hassle/$$$ than the cost of the 2nd scope
