View Full Version : Low mag compact sight options?
I really want an ACOG but I don't have anywhere near that kind of money. I'm looking for a low cost low magnification (1-3x) non-electronic compact optic. Illuminated reticle would be nice but I don't want to have to rely on electronics or batteries, it has to be useful in daylight without batteries. Any suggestions?
Millet dms-1
Trijicon Accupoint
Weaver 1-3x
Weaver is the cheapest, then DMS, then the Accupoint. Depending on how much you're looking to spend I have a sale going on the accupoints.

There's also the Trijicon Compact ACOGs, if they're still made.
Look for a used compact ACOG online - I see them on the ar15.com equipment exchange.
I have a 2x20 which I love, and had a 1.5x16 which was also great, but sold it.
I've also heard good things about IOR optics.
