Hello all, I have a question. I'm wanting a set of night sights for my 21SF but with all the choices out there I'm not sure which one to get. My question is, when you buy a new Glock with night sights installed by Glock, what do they look like? Anyone have a link to send me to so I can see a picture? As always, thanks in advance.

They look just like meprolight sights. I think they are made by meprolight actually. Here is a pic of Glock factory sights.

Would Meprolight sights be a good choice? Kinda new here.

Mepros are excellent... I have them on two of my Glocks. They come in different colors. I like the two yellow dots in the rear and green in the front pattern... but all green is pretty standard. I like em best because the dots are larger than trijicons, which I also have on one gun. It's kinda personal preference... either should work good for you. For that matter, the Glock factory ones are good also. The only thing with those is that your front sight is staked in instead of screwed/bolted, so it's not removeable without damaging it.
I have trijicons on almost all my Glocks and love them. That being said I am installing Meprolights on my new G19 and G21SF today as the place I get my sigths was out of Trijicons. I have shot meps before and they are just as nice as Trijicons. I also have some Truglow TFO's on my G34 and love them.

I am interested about your observations between the different sights.

To me the Trijicons and Meprolights are about the same. You cannot go wrong with either. I like the TFO's on the G34 as I use it for 3-gun and other games and they really work well for quick sight picture. I have not put them on any of my carry guns for no real reason other than they are a little bigger and may not fit in some holsters.

Thanks sgtb.
The TFOs are bigger and although there isnt a holster issue, there is is a stress point on the overhang on the top of the slide when you run alot of holster drills. Ive become addicted to that brightness, maybe to a fault, and have been uncomfortable when I hold something to shoot without them.
I had Mepros on my Glock and now have some XS Big Dots. Both work well. Depends on what your preference is. Some like the 3 dot lineup. The big dot is primarily used for self defense as it is "easier and faster" to see. I shoot a lot better with the XS sights though. I don't know if its the sights or I'm just practicing more. I recommend either.
Meprolight, Trijicon, AmeriGlo, will all get it done for you!
The Glock OEM Meps are usually the most bang for the buck--and they're very good sights.
Trijicon, with their narrower front blad, are better target sights, for sharper eyed shooters. They're excellent quality, but avoid harsh solvents and aggressive scrubbing (I've never seen the need for either), as the white markers are painted on.
AmeriGlo offers excellent quality and the most choices. They use Trijicon lamps, and like Meprolight, white plastic o-rings for markers.
