Sight spraypainted

Hi to all is it possible to spraypaint my sight?.I have a set of mepros and i would like to make them match the color of the slide.Thanks

Sure, it's possible.

Though I'm at a loss as to whether you'll find paint to match any better than the OEM coating.

You'll have to prep the surface to get a bond...

You'll have to mask over the lamps and markers... Avoid getting skin oils on the sights or tape...

Plus, you'll want a paint formulated to resist solvents & cleaning. Epoxy or engine paint should be ideal, but a color and gloss match is a crap shoot.

Spray control, and multiple fine coats will be needed, so as not to fatten the front blade, and clog up the rear sight notch.

Done right, this is fine work; and personally, more than I'd screw around with. But that's me!
