New Fenix T1

I just got my Fenix T1 in today. Man is this thing bright! It's the PERFECT size for tactical use IMO. I got the olive green clipless model. I believe this thing would blind an intruder. Well worth $67!

They are great lights, you might also consider adding an LOD CE. Being only slightly larger than the one AAA that powers it makes me have in my pocket all the time. On the strobe setting it is very blinding:cool:

Considering this is Fenix's first attempt at a truly tactical light, I think they did an outstanding job. The light is typical Fenix, a very bright hot spot with nice spill. It isn't a true LED thrower, but it does put light "out there" and it has a really good flood. It's also pretty tough. If you haven't already, I'd encourage everyone to search youtube for Fenix T1 torture tests. Some of the stuff is pretty amazing. I don't know why, but this light is often tortured by its owners...very Glockesque.

That said, I hope that Fenix's next variation of the T1 will be minus the tailstanding tailcap, with a more pronounced "clickie." The current tailcap makes activating the switch a little more difficult than it needs to be in a tactical flashlight. Still, it's a very good start.
