View Full Version : Ameriglo rear sight pusher.
105 bucks from ameriglo.com, does anybody know if there is a place that sells for cheaper?
I believe GTool2 is the model for installations of operator / operator pro sights, which is what I'll need to pick up.
Thanks in advance.
I found that most sight pushers in the $100 price range are only good for installing/removing/adjusting Glock factory plastic sight. If you are to install metal sight you still need a metal file, a hammer, and a punch. Although once you file the sight dovetail down a bit you can then push it in with one of these sight pushers.
I have installed adjustable metal sights on all my three Glocks. Hammer, a triangle file, and a few wooden dowels (I didn't use a punch because I didn't want to scratch or mark the rear sight) were all I needed plus the help of my daughter holding down the slide on a hard plastic block while I hammered away.
Have fun.

You can the sight pusher cheaper at Brownells or Midwayusa ,the tool is the best for tool for the job.. They do work with metal sights just fine that is what the tool was made for.. I have put on many many sights with a punch and hammer, but the tool works better.
