I went with a single point sling and need to remove the collapsible (M4) buttstock for the sling adapter.
Where can I get the tool? Link please? Doing this on 2 rifles and stoked to get them done! :devilish::2gun:
Also, any tips would be greatly appreciated, I can service an M-16 complete with B/BC/BCG, but I have never had a butt stock off.
Thanks y'all

Most decent gunshops should have a CAR stock wrench or AR15 armorers tool (even better and more robust than the CAR stock wrench).
Also, you will likely have to use quite a bit of elbow grease to get it off. Depending on the brand of AR15, your castle nuts may be locktited on or staked. If they are locktited, you will likely need to heat up the castle nut in order to loosen it. To do this, you'll want to use a heat gun or your wifes hair drier...

When I had hair it was blonde :whistling::supergrin:
I want to thank you again for your sling info, although I didn't go with yours due to the fact I will be having surgery right where the strap comes from the back to the front under the Pec. So that area is gonna be major sore for awhile. Once I get back to half speed we will talk about some other stuff. :)
