DFW Area Gun Range Get Together

If anybody is interested, me and some friends in my car club are getting together for a few hours at the gun range later in the month. Just thought I'd throw it out here on Glock Talk in case anybody locally would be interested. We are planning on getting together at the Winchester Public Gun Range off of NW Hwy and Luna. We've set the date for June 23'rd (it's a Sunday) at 10am. Info on the range (including maps, directions, and range fee's) can be found at the link below.

We usually get together about once a month to go to the range so I'll try to regularly post up the info here for anybody interested. We will probably do something afterwards for lunch also.

I usually play golf on Sunday mornings. But, would love to meet up with you guys. I'm not a gun owner yet. But, plan to be in the near future. Any chance for afternoon get togethers?

No chance for an afternoon get together this time. I normally like to go to the range on Saturday's myself. Are you familiar with the Winchester Range?

Nope, haven't been to that range. I currently don't own any guns. So, I go with a buddy. But, I plan to buy one soon.

Thanks for the invite! I'm usually on the golf course on Sunday mornings. I'm actually going shooting with a buddy of mine tomorrow. He is training for an IDPA or IPSC shoot coming up.

Jose, give me a call the next time you go. Also, I found a place in Ft Worth that has a $5 range fee but it is only open on Fridays and Saturdays. Email me if you are interested.

Sign on building says "Law Enforcement Shooters Supply" or something to that effect. Indoor range w/ 7 lanes give or take.

Good: $5 Glock rentals (have 3 9mm and 1 .40); $5 box of house rounds; $5 range fee for the day, regardless if you leave and return later in the day; large selection of targets @ 75 cents

Bad & Ugly: They are only open Fri and Sat, brass was everywhere, store employees cannot see shooters (no window)
