Me my dad and a couple of friends may be going to the next Tulsa gun show on the 5th and 6th of April. Is there anything we need to know about the show or carry in OK? Can you carry in a restaurant that serves alcohol if you're not drinking?

In most Oklahoma restaurants that serve alcohol you will see a little sign in a separate area that says "no one under 21." Don't carry into that separate area. There might be such a sign at the entrance, in which case the whole thing is considered a bar and is off limits.
You will see very few signs saying "no weapons." If you do see one, it is still a little unclear under our law what that means. Some say it makes it a crime, others that it means only that they can tell you to leave. I avoid such places.
We welcome all permit holders.
The show itself will have signs up saying "no weapons" to discourage idiots from yanking out their piece to see if the M6 fits it.
Wear comfortable shoes. It's huge. I mean it, you cannot grasp how big this show is unless you've been to something like the SHOT show. I wear a vest or a backpack to stow stuff in. You might also consider stashing a couple of cereal or granola bars to avoid paying ten bucks for a hot dog.
If you are a carnivore Tulsa has several Lebanese steak houses, all owned by relatives, such as Jamil's, etc, that are worth a visit. Great tabouli! Otherwise there is some excellent Mexican food. There is a hotel on the Fairgrounds property that would be an excellent place to stay if you are staying overnight and would cure the parking problem.
If you have time, a visit to the Gilcrease Museum is great. One of the best collections of American and western art in the world. Lots of Remington, Russell, etc.
A little further is the J.M. Davis Gun Museum in Claremore, which is also huge and amazing.
You will not get many replies on this forum. The Okies have all migrated to okshooters.com. Many of them are from Tulsa (I am not) and can give specific restaurant and hotel recommendations.
