Saw one of these tonight for the first time. Very nice looking rifle, in excellent condition. I would venture to say it rates a strong 95% plus. Owner has installed a nice set if Williams target peep sights on it that have a click adjustment like a scope would.

Can someone tell me if these are good guns, and what it is like in the accuracy department. Any help / information would be greatly appreciated !

These are not good guns -- they are GREAT guns! If the gun has been well taken care of, it probably has decades of use left in it. Check the barrel for pitting, or any visible wear at the muzzle end; rifling should look clear/sharp/well-defined, no rounding of lands or grooves. Most good .22s are not worn out by shooting; they are worn out by improper or over-zealous CLEANING! All it takes is a loose-jointed multi-piece screw-together cleaning rod, jerked in-and-out of the bore a few times, and the accuracy can be ruined. Sometimes, a re-crowning of the barrel can restore accuracy if the muzzle is the only (or primary) affected area.

The click-adjustable rear sight is a plus; if your vision is sharp, you can shoot groups comparable to a scoped rifle out to 100 yards, IF the light is good and target clearly visible. For hunting or lower-light use, a good scope will beat the best iron sights hands-down.

Hope this was helpful...
