Does glock make their own night sights? I want to add some that are near the same as the factory ones but visable at night of course. How much do these normally sell for and how hard are they to install??

Glock night sites are made by Meprolight. They cost around 75 bucks and you will need a rear sight pusher to install them. (pushers can range from 80-130 bucks)

To Install Glock Front Night Sight you will need this tool

Rear sight can be installed with a punch i use this one here

You can buy Meprolight sights for your Glock that do NOT require the front sight crimping tool because a nut is used to attach the front. I recommend picking night sights that use this mode of attachment. Besides Meprolight, Ameriglo, Trijicon and others make night sights that will fit your G21SF.

I also recommend using a sight pusher, rather than a punch to install the rear sights. Use a tool MADE for the job!

Some people have luck with Drift Punches. But, for $75 I wouldn't want a cracked Tritium tube because I banged it too hard. Use a rear sight pusher.

Most dealers that sell the sights will install them for you.

Send the slide (only) to Glock for factory installation of the Glock-brand sights. You'll be glad you did.

:) Actually, that the above statement should have read; 'We didn't ... and we're glad we didn't!'

the night sights that come on my g21 sf's are the best of all factory sights i own. i have quality guns that vary in brand. glock beats them all in glowing strength. meprolight or what have you. they glow the strongest. they put siglites to shame.

I sent my slide to Glock not too long ago for the Glock night sights. $62.50 and 2 weeks later I was a very happy camper.

To the best of my knowledge, Glock uses Meprolight tubes!

How old are the night sights on the guns you are comparing your 21SF to? Nights sights get dim over time. The newest are usually the brightest.
