357Glocker, thanks for the reply:wavey: I've been to Omaha a couple of times, once when I ran the quarter at State Track and the second time when my boy ran the mile. I have an uncle in law that farms just on the south side and is selling his land off piece by piece for BIG BUCKS for developement. I hope he remembers me in his will:rofl: any way take care and hope life is good for ya!

Hey cmzneb, I know where you're at. I have lived in Scribner, Fremont and West Point when I was growing up. Hope all is well in the east!

Hey Farmer Dave, hope you are missing out on all the weather going through tonight. We are getting some nasty lightning and wind and looks like rain is coming. We are only 51 miles from Valentine so get there often as it is the closest town with much for businesses. Thanks for the reply and have a good 'un!

Weather here has been good so far. If you ever have a sick animal and take it to a red haired vet then you'd be talking to my sister. I'm of course assuming that she's the only red haired female vet in the town but I could be wrong on that. Which direction are you from Valentine, ever tube down the Niobrara river. It was fun the first couple of times but the last time I went it was getting old.

She is the only one I trust with my weimeraner "Blue". I have known her a long time and she is a very good companion animal vet! We live west of Valentine right on the Niobrara. When the boys were younger we used to tube all the time. Like you said, after a while, it gets kind of old. I haven't been for a few years now.

Welcome to GT farley! Always good to hear from another Nebraskan. They take some pretty nice bucks out of that area. Hay Springs took us out of the play offs last week. Wish them well at state!

Hey AFShooter, always good to hear from another Nebraskan. I've held my FFL since 1981 and am considering CCW permit, just haven't "pulled the trigger" yet.

If you decide on getting the CCW permit I would suggest that you send your creds off to Florida as well. Most class instructors will provide a Florida registration packet if you want to mail it in. Nebraska doesn't have much in terms of reciprocity with other states, but Florida accepts NE CCW instruction and has reciprocity with many more states.

Four!

Two 1911's in shoulder holsters and two 1911's in ankle holsters. At least that is the limit I'm aware of

I have a Nebraska concealed carry permit and have sent off all the required information need for a Florida concealed carry permit. That was in the first week in January. Does anyone know how long Florida takes to process The required information?

Florida by statute is supposed to issue the permit within 90 days. However they have a massive backlog of 90 some thousand permits...... I just had someone tell me he waited 8 months.
