I know that FBMG does various training courses and I wondered if any of you had participated in them or any other training courses here in Utah.
I have never had any proper training and am looking for a series of pistol courses and maybe rifle courses in the future. I have a free pass to Frontsight in Nevada, but would really like to find something more local.
Any course reviews or recommendations?
Thanks.

For rifle training there is an Appleseed shoot coming up. It will be April 19th in Nephi.
Rangemasters in the Provo/Orem area and several other gun shops offer CCW training. Even if you decide not to carry it offers a good start on basic pistol handling skills.
I did a brief Google search and found http://utahfirearmstraining.com First I've heard of them, so I can't really comment. Might be worth checking out.

I hear The Farm is good but I think it is part of FBMG so same thing. Front Sight is only 6 hours from Salt Lake and well worth the trip. If you go do the 4 day not just the 2 day.
lots, also start shooting some UDPL, after you get on the mailing list you will get lots of info on different courses offered, and I think there is a Gunsite pistol class in May.
I can't wait to start shooting in matches again, if all goes well I'll get weekends off soon.
here is a url to check out, lots of good classes: http://www.combat-terror.com/courses.html

+1 with FBMG. I took Larry's CCW course at the Cabelas in Lehi and it was great. Cool guy too.
I'd recommend continual training for any and all pro gunners.
