View Full Version : New G33
It took a couple of months for my dealer to find one, but I just got my new G33. I've fired a G26 and G27 before, but never a G33. Any tips before taking it to the range? TIA.

I second what Loki said, You might also put a Pierce Extension on one of your mag's to help with your grip for the first couple of Mags, I use them because it is more comfortable to shoot, Practice, and Enjoy. This little beast has become one of my Favorites just behind my Sig.

It took me 3 months to get one and now I have another on order (my saw mine and wants one).
Two things: Pierce Grips and a Hogue Sleeve.

Two things about taking your 33 to the range:
1. Make sure everyone has their ears on before you pull the trigger or you'll have some unhappy folks on your hands.
2. Be prepared to meet lots of new people. The 357 and the 33 always draw attention. I always offer to let 'em shoot it. Sometimes they accept. They always have a strange look on their face afterwards. Don't know exactly what that means.

Astonished maybe ? Can't find the words to describe what a punch that little beauty packs ? I have people comment on mine after shooting it, and I can't repeat what was said. :)
Wow--I can't wait to try it. Sounds like it's going to be interesting! ;f
I took four guns to the range today: one of my G33s, my new HK USP45 Compact, my Sig P239 (in .357 Sig), and one of my HK P7 PSPs (9mm). Although my HK P7 PSP was the clear winner in the accuracy department, the G33 was no slouch, as I was able to produce dead-center groups with it. I was left with the impression that the G33 had the best combination of power, accuracy, reliability, capacity, and compactness. I am glad that I have two of them!
Only advice I can offer are take a good set of ear muffs and shooting glasses. *LOL* It will definately draw attention. The Glock 33 is LOUD! Nice fireball too!
If you are shooting inside it can be a pain! Outside isn't as bad.
Good luck on your purchase! I love mine!
