After taking a brief break from the writing process, scraping approximately 4/5 of the novels outline and replacing it with one that was remotely plausible, I have returned to laying out the plot and preparing to write (or rewrite) my novels upcoming chapters.

First, I need help with motivation. I've been working on this project fairly consistently for several months and I just feel tired. However, I know that if I take an extended break period from it, I will never finish. How can I motivate myself to continue writing even when I don't necessarily feel like it. I'm sure once I finish planning, it will come along much faster.

Second, how much should I be writing a day. Right now, I'm only getting maybe one page as it is only outlining and I'm putting a lot of thought into the process, but once I start I usually churn out 2-5 pages per day. How long should I be writing each day?
