My buddy got a full auto mac 9mm but he wants to replace the upper on it with something a bit slower/easier to control.

He mentioned "Stoney Creek"...I think that was the name of it. But he said the guy that makes the uppers NEVER ships because he's constantly upgrading his stuff. No clue whether it's true or not.

Anyways, who do you reccommend?

Thanks!

Best guy around for MAC stuff is Richard Lage. He has a long waiting list, but he won't take your money until the items are ready to ship. Here is his website: http://www.max-11.com/

First and for most avoid Stony Creek Armory at all cost. This guy has ripped alot of peopel off. No one seems to EVER get ANYTHING from him. read the link below and you understand. SCA = scam artist

Personally I recommend going with a Lage Max-11 its the best thing out there right now.

+1 on the Lage. There is a wait for that, but the business seems to be legit and poeple are getting their products.

I wish I could afford to cough up the cash for a lage. The problem is my mac is broken, so it wouldn't get used anyways :)

Yes I just put my Lage upper through it's paces. I was able to dump a whole mag at once into a small shoot n c target at 30 feet. It is simply the best upgrade a mac could ever want. And you can adjust the fire rate by simply adding buffers. (it is only 600 rpm in stock form I want to get mine to 800)

Definitely go with the Lage. And his customer service is top notch. All my emails were answered within two days, usually less.
