collins cartridge co. ammo

I've heard very little of collins cartridge co. but they offer 1000 rds. of 125gr.reman. ammo for 160.00. Has anyone had good or bad experiences with them? How would they compare to g.a. canned heat??;d ;d thanks:cool:

Collins is a local guy in Conroe. I have purchased several boxes of .45 from him, and it works well. I would use it for practice, but not serious selfdefense. He loads his rounds kind of conservatively, and I like factory ammo better for carry. He uses quality components and has quite a loading setup. Very mild recoiling, but not much power, my opinion. He attends local gun shows regularly and is a law enforcement officer.
