9mm conversion, whose done them?

Is it as simple as a barrel and mag swap? What kind of reliability? Im particulary refering to a G31. I saw over at GlockMeister that the 9mm conversion should only be used for range use. What are your thoughts/experiences? Thanks

Yes on the barrel and mag only.
Done on several G23s, G22, G31, G35, G24.
Fine for any range application, including bowling pin competition.

I would not use it for carry.
YMMV
