View Full Version : you would never believe the deal I just got a Gander M!!!!
I just went to Gander Mountain of all places today and actually found a crazy deal. I dont know about you, but the gander mountains around me have rediculous prices on everything, from guns to ammo and so on. I just found a Browning High Power 9MM Practical for $425, came with Pachmayr grips and 3 15rd mags with pachmayr pads on them. It did not come with a box so I said that I was not going to pay that price. He looked at the Sig Sauer boxes and they had a price of $45 on them so he discounted it $45. When all was said and done I walked out with an almost brand new BHP with 3 mags and papers for $407.04. I was pretty excited about the find and with the price, especally at Gander (over priced) Mountain of all places.
Not the greatest pics but anyway:

Man, the Gander Mountain here doesn't have good prices. Everything is HIGH! Glad to here you got a good deal.
Great deal. You want to sell it to me for $350.00?
Enjoy it.

Our local Gander Mountain has been discounting new BHPs pretty heavily; Practicals, Dark Blues, etc. across the board. Other than the 1911, the single-action, centerfire autoloader has "fallen out of favor" with the latest edition of the gun buying public. So we've got good news & bad news, the bad news is - fewer & fewer folks are aware or interested in the BHP. The good news is...prices are DROPPING for those of us who know & appreciate these remarkable handguns!
Congrats on your great buy!

NICE! Gander Mtn has some strange price points. It had a Norinco 1911 with aftermarket Wilson parts for $249 here. I'd have grabbed it in a heartbeat, but i already had one.
Then again, used Glock 17's sell for $550 there too.

Every once in a while, it is possible to get a used gun deal at Gander. That's the only reason I go in there.
Now remove the mag safety and you will have a totally different gun!
