Using a quote in a sigline

It really sucks being stoopid ...

I'd like to add a quote to my sig line, but when I use the i get:

# BB code url is not allowed.
# BB code quote is not allowed.

Is this a PEBKAC error or something that cannot be done?

Hm. Seems to work for me. ;)

use the [ quote ] without the spaces and [ / quote ]

If it's from the forum, quote their post, copy the text in your message box, go to your user CP for your signature, paste and save.

What do your signature permissions say? That's the stuff at the bottom of the "edit signature" page.

In the right column about halfway down, "Allow Quote BBCode" - does that say yes or no?

I turned all that crap off,so I dont see any of the bs that people write on there,it gets annoying after you see the same line over and over again.

I musta messed something up, I tried to edit my current sig and the tag is not allowed either, as the returned message is "BB code url is not allowed"
