Has anyone compiled a list of states where it is legal to hunt with suppressors?
I have seen this list someplace, but didn't collect it. :dunno:

To be honest, YES. I am looking for new employment and NFA items is one thing I keep in my mind.
Additionally, I have a great setup, but I can not legally use it here.

Nebraska and South Dakota are good to go for NFA and NFA hunting.
You can't hunt game animals or game birds in TX using a silencer. It doesn't explicitly say you can, but I believe you can use one to hunt nongame animals & birds.

Ohio -- No taking of quadrapeds with suppressed firearm.
I belive Va & Wv are legal

It is legal to take any game in Utah with a silencer. Also, you can hunt small game with a machinegun, but not big game.
This is most handy for hunting rodents such as gophers and jackrabbits.
In most states there is an open season for relic firearms. A few of those relic firearm calibers allow you to use a silencer but it varies from state to state. I saw a good exerpt of it from SilencerTalk.com complete with Pics (I am too lazy to dig for it so if your interested you know where to go).

You can hunt with suppressors as long as the firearm is legal to hunt with. No machineguns, AOW, SBR, or SBS.
