Action Alert: Two Pro-RKBA Bills Need Your Help
GOAL (http://www.goal.org) is pleased to announce that two pro-RKBA bills are on the move in the State House. S.1401 " An Act Prohibiting the Confisation of Lawfully Owned Firearms During a State of Emergency" and H.2385 "An Act Relative to Increasing Accessibility to Nonlethal Self Defense Sprays" have been released favorably by the Joint Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security.
GOAL's bill S.1401 was filed as a result of what took place in New Orleans during the hurricane aftermath. S.1401 is now in the Senate Committee on Ways & Means. Please contact your local senator and ask them to do whatever they can to support this bill and see that it moves to the senate floor for a swift passage.
H.2385 is the consensus bill regarding the elimination of the restricted FID card for self defense sprays. H.2385 in now in the House Committee on Ways & Means. Please contact your local representative and ask them to do whatever they can to support this bill and see that it moves to the house floor for a swift passage.
