Well, I guess my title says it all. I just picked up a G35 and am looking ofr a holster for concealed carry as well as IDPA. Is there one holster which will serve well for both? I currently have a Blackhawk Sepra for my G22, works fine if you don't mind the slide protruding a bit. I would prefer a open top belt slide or paddle setup.

Also Comp-Tac.
For a duty type holster, Safariland.

Thanks,
I've picked up a 6280 for duty use, Safariland has it and the SS3 and 6360 for the 34 / 35 pistol. The SS3 is horrible, especially if you attempt to draw from a seatbelted in position!

I don't know if I'd say that about the SS3. I've used them for years and never thought horrible. Officers still trust the SS3 and use it daily...not as many as 5 years ago now though as it seems more are switching to the 6280. Can be a pain when seatbelted in, but think for the most part, a lot of true triple retention holsters are. But, to each their own. :)

Yes, even the 6280 has issues, it's kinda snug front to back. If you don't draw directly up, it will snag in the holster, especially with the longer G35. The fastest to draw from duty holster I ever used was the 295. They just don't make it for the G35.

Anyone know a good place to look for a 6280 that fits it with the x200 attached?

If LE, I would contact Safariland's LE Rep. Been a while since I delt with them directly so not sure who is the top dog right now to talk with.
If Civy, going price seems to be anywhere from $120-150.

The 6280 made for the G35 with the TLR-1 light will fit just fine, it's what I use.

Sweet! Thank you. That about triples the number of holsters that could be potentials. Do you know if this would be true for different guns as well? (ie: 6280 for g21 and tlr1 would fit nicely with the x200?)

Sorry, havent tried that combo, so don't know. I'm going to guess that it will as the X200 is slightly smaller / shorter than the TLR1
