U.S.S. Midway

While serving in the Navy, I was stationed aboard the USS Midway and I am wondering if there are there any more Glockers who was stationed on the Midway? If so, send me a PM. Thanks.:supergrin:

Did a West Pac aboard the Midway back in '78 while deployed as a squadron Corpsman with VMFP-3 Det-1 out of El Toro. I was one of the Flight Deck Corpsman during that deployment. Seems "ship's" Corpsman didn't like going up there because it was a very easy place to get hurt.:wow: Which was very true.

I was aboard the Midway Magic from 1985 to 1987. I was assigned to Deck Dept. 3rd Division. The USS Miday was my ticket in getting promoted to Chief Petty Officer. As soon as I left and in my 30 days vacation, I learned from my buddies that I got slected for promotion. If I'm not mistaken she is now a floating museum in Kalifornia.:patriot:

Never got aboard, but took a couple of photos of it docked at Subic in 1987.
