Mike Duve is a promoter of gun shows and other events, and has been associated with the Central Ohio based People's Rights Organization for many years. From the PRO website:

Message From Peoples Rights Board of Trustees

"Last week the Board of Trustees of Peoples Rights Organization (PRO) was alerted that Mr. Mike Duve, who promoted and operated various gun and recreational shows, including the PRO Gun Shows under a sponsorship agreement with Peoples Rights Organization for more than 15 years, has fled the state, leaving behind a dizzying trail of debts, many improperly incurred in the name of this organization."

He skipped out with a large sum of money, hinting at possibly leaving the country, and left a lot of people holding the bag. A local big deal in Columbus, the Veterans Auditorium gun show, was to be held for the first time in 15 years since ridiculous Columbus gun laws were repealed. On the day of the event, table holders showed up and were turned away after being told the show was canceled, as were many show goers, but the same table holders were told that their deposits were gone as a result of Mike Duve's disappearing.

A real shame... anyone knowing or seeing Mike Duve is requested to please contact the Franklin County Sheriff's Department.

Debob, I also wondered why they haven't posted a picture of him. Think I'd know him by sight, having attended many PRO shows, but of course that doesn't do much good for most other folks. My thinking is that since Mr. Duve was by trade a real estate worker of some kind, and a gun-swapper by hobby, he'll likely pop up elsewhere in those same venues. Be helpful for realty companies, gun show promoters, and maybe gunshop owners, to know what he looks like...
