the mk9 with the dlc coating, anyone have or seen this, can't find this model advertised on there page.

Is it labeled as DLC or does it just have a black slide. Kahr use to make a MK9-BOX. This had a carbon steel slide with a black oxide finish. That being said Kahr has been known to substitute a Stainless steel slide when they were out of the carbon steel slides and had orders to fill. These rare finds have Stainless marked on the slide. The finish was passivated not DLC. The plastic case was labeled MK9-BX on these.

All that being said, Kahr does make a unique gun now and then, so anything is possible.

The only way to know for sure, is to contact Kahr with the S/N and ask them.

This isn't a DLC model. This is just a poor photo.
Kahr did however consider offering a DLC finish as a custom feature on customers' guns for extra $$$. I don't know where they are in that project.
Two years ago they refused to coat my MK9 withDLC and I went to the outside vendor who did a phenomenal job.
It was about time because there were small areas of rust on a stainless gun and I do not even live in a high humididity state.

who dlc coats an mk40 or mk 9 or a reasonable price?

CCR did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price.
It was MK9 but I am sure that the price would be no different for MK40 - these are virtually the same guns

I remember a run of DLC MK 9's, somewhere between 1999 and 2001? anybody else?
