I was just chatting with my brother, and I was asking him for the price of Glock mags (which I checked to be somewhere around the $19.00 range).

He told me that Glock mag prices will increase by around 33%, to about $26.00 each.

I'm now thinking of a revolver.

Seriously, this is not good news.

If plastic with a little steel would increase 33% in price, what more of a revolver that has more steel parts?

Additional mags may be more economical.

This does not look good. Ammo price increases might just be around the corner.

I was thinking of speedloaders. :) Nevertheless, the increase doesn't sound good at all, especially to Glock owners.

Food shortage....;(

I confirmed through one of my distributors this morning. I bought 115 magazines last night to get a jump on this.
Glock mags haven't gone up one cent in 4-5 years so it's really no big surprise. Go buy some SIG or XD or Ruger mags and $26 doesn't sound quite so bad.

I would go with moon clips for a revo. S & W 625 comes to mind. You don;t loose your brass.
