:wavey:

I just looked through you pbase and I can't find the shot of the black bird who looked like he was going to jump off the roof. Can you post him again? I was telling somebody about him. :)

Thanks!

Moved him (http://www.pbase.com/image/23483358/original) to a separate area (in signature).

In that case, especially for your moods, misskitty5077, here is something on the opposite side of the spectrum:

Oh wow. I really love that! I wouldn't have guessed horses. First thing I thought of is people picking flowers. :)

Incredibly Monet-ish (to me anyway, lol). Monet is one of my favorites. I even painted my bedroom to match the colors in my favorite Monet although you can't see the walls very well for all the books and pics.

In that case, something else in a similar mood (we're working on cheering up misskitty5077): ;)

How did I miss this? :dunno:

All that needs is me, a loaf of bread and a flock of birds/geese

I guess ancient 3 MP cameras are still useful after all. ;)

(I've upgraded last week to an ultra-modern pocket tiny thing I can carry with me everywhere... cost me an entire $160. :outtahere:)

:)

I kinda want a small p-n-s but then I think that is $150-200 I can put toward a new lens...

Well, one day I am sure I will buy an SLR, when I can justify the expense. I don't like non-producing assets, so they must either be business-related or of insignificant cost if hobby-related. Since I do not think SLRs and good lenses will ever be of insignificant cost, then I just have to make more to change my internal scale. ;)

My hobby has paid for everything I have bought, several times over. :)

I just wish I could bring the kind of income in all the time that I made this winter! Maybe I can someday soon... :)

ETA: I started with digital and am also moving towards a lot of film. Since I was gifted almost all the darkroom equipment I need, my initial cost was not that bad to also shoot film. I have learned that if money were no object (and film could be processed as fast and easily as I can chimp, lol) I much prefer the old-school way instead of the new digital scene. Now, I am not saying that I don't love digital, just that film is much more satisfying for me in a physical hands-on way. On the other hand, my digital work is paying for the film stuff.
