My G22 mag works fine with 357 sig but I can not see the 10th round in it. I really don't understand why not as both are based on the .40 brass.
Has anyone tried to dremil up or down a little to find the round with any success? Or does that weaken the mag to much?
How much can I trust the bullet views in any of the G22 .40 mags? I don't really want to unload each time to do a manual count.
Mark,
I also use G22 mags to shoot 357SIG, and they function flawlessly. I can clearly see the 10th round through the counter hole in all 4 of my G22 mags when loaded with 357SIG. Not sure why your mag(s) would be different. Do you have more than 1 G22 mag? If so, is this the case with all of your G22 mags? Can you see the rounds through the holes as you work down the mag? For example, if you have 6 or 8 rounds loaded, can you see them through the 6/8 counter hole?
I don't think I would try to modify any of your mags especially if they function fine. Seems like that might just lead to malfunctions and feeding problems.

The four I used all did not display the 10th round although they functioned well. I believe the rounds displayed correctly till the 10th round although I will play with them some more. This was my first attempt to use a new barrel and it was a match practice. These mags are 7 or 8 years old.
I don't really want to try to enlarge the holes and don't know if I should try to go up or down even if I did try.
