View Full Version : Suggestions on better sights on my/your Glock?
I have been shooting Glocks for over 15 years and the one (and only) thing that I dont like about them is the factory sights. The factory sights work for combat shooting which is primarily what the majority of Glock models were made for, but when I want to really try and get small groups, the sights seem to me to be not that great for distance shooting.
To elaborate, ther front sight is just about as wide as the rear site cut out making it hard to really center up the front sight on a target out past 50/60 feet.
I am looking for suggestions of sights that could be utilized at greater distances but also be great combat sights. Night sights have never appealed to me, but I wont discount them. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated..

Truglo, Best sights for all around. They are ideal for those who need a good sight with night and day reliability. IMO

TruGlo has the best of both worlds, day and night.....The combo of the 2 work great....
TruGlo's TFO, trituim fiber optic is the best way to go, you won't regret it.
Look into the AmeriGlo Operator night sights. I love the thin front blade and the option of green front and yellow rear. I had them on my last g19 and am going to have them installed on my new one next week.

went the cheap way for right now to test out thinner front sight. ameriglo front night .125 wide and stock rear. this gives more space between rear inside edges and front sight. black my rear out to stop my eyes from being distracted. seems to be working great. I don't know but i might try to open the rears up a little. I figured cheap way to test out the WTS set up.
I've tried many sights over the years, but TruGlo TFOs are by far my favorites - day or night, speed or precision. I have the yellow/green combo on a couple of my GLOCKs.
I've been bouncing around between XS Sights 24/7 Big Sights and Meprolight night sights (fixed and adjustable). I finally made my decision on the Meprolight fixed night sights (orange rear/green front) for my Sig Sauer P220 Carry. I went with these sights because of the price and I wanted to keep all my sights style (three dots) the same on all my handguns.
