Surefire X300 and G35

Well, after having a Streamlight TRL on my G35 for some time, I was never happy with it. No matter how tight I would tighten the screw, it would lossen up during shooting and fall off at around the 200 mark.

After much debate, I broke down and bought the new Surefire X300 and couldn't be happier. The fit and finish are flawless and it fits on my Glock 35 tight. The light is 110 lumens and is blinding bright. It also makes the G35 look even more imtimidating.

You havent by chance tried it in a Safariland duty holster for the Glock/TLR combo have you? Does it fit securely?

My duty rig is the Safariland 6820 Kydex and the Insight M3, TRL and X300 fit it. I was worried that the X300 wouldn't fit because it's a bit longer than the TRL, but it fits.

Looks like the G35 sitting next to me right now...but missing the 6" barrel. ;) Gotta love the x300 though. Wish they were cheaper though...I'd buy more for the other handguns.

That's pretty sweet and at half the cost I just paid for an X300. Looks like my nightstand G22 will be wearing one soon!
