I wasn't exactly in the market for an AR, but I figured that a NIB 6920 for $1169 + tax couldn't be beat. It was a LEO price, but it beat the best LEO price I could find online by almost $100.

Do they have anymore? Can you please send me the contact info? Thanks.
Please post where, or IM. I'm LEO too. Thanks.

Sorry, it was the only one. The owner said they get a couple dozen a year and he rations them out a few at a time. I happened to be picking up my new 21SF and saw it sitting on the rack.
Was in Ken Elmore's AR armorer class this last week. He passed along that Colt is getting ready to push out a large quantity of LE rifles into the system. Doubt you will see any price decreases but the quantity should be there soon. Colt's delivery of non-military contract rifles was a large topic in the classes.

I think you will be well served by it. I have a 6920, and it has been boringly reliable.
Exactly what I like in a weapon. :)
You got a great price, too.
That's a good price. I gave $1249 for mine, no regrets.
I bought mine in December for $1200 shipped. Found a FFL holder near my folks' house and picked it up when I went home for the Holidays.
My only regret is not buying more. I could have gotten 10 at that price and I could have afforded it. Should have done it. Those things are going to keep going up
I was actually going to start a thread asking about people's experience with the 6920 price but I think I found the answer

Excellent price for a NIB 6920. I live in the state that they are made in but being still a ban state we cannot buy them. On a good note Stags are made here also and we can get those. Would like a Colt but honestly I am happy with the Stag even though no bayo lug and a muzzle break and 30 round high caps are legal.

Nothing at all wrong with Stag AR's. I'll have two as soon as a lower I ordered arrives. Thinking about buying a third. I do have one Colt, an A2 HBAR.

I would have bought another one also when I got mine, if they'd had one.

Definitely kicking myself for not atleast buying one extra. :steamed:
Oh well, life goes on. Atleast I got the one

How is the fit between upper and lower? Most Colt's I have seen seem to have some play in the fit. Not sloppy, but definitely a little wiggle.
Sweet price. Where's the pics?

It's as tight as any other AR15 I've owned/shot.

I prefer a little wiggle. Having it tight just makes take down harder and does nothing to help accuracy.
