Does anyone have any hands on experience with the FM Hi powers,
i know they are made under contract in Argentina,
the samples i have seen are not as refined as a FN or Browning, but look serviceable.

Any one want share thier toughts?

I love mine. I picked it up new for $299. It was a great entry into the world of hipowers, especially for a poor college student at the time. Its every bit as reliable as my browning practical. I'd not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

I used to own one and it was a solid highpower, it just was not finished as nice as an FN product. It had a "painted-on" look to the finish. My understanding is that they are licensed copies of the FN gun.

This looks to be a pretty informative article:

I own a few FM and they are some of my most accurate and reliable Hi powers I Own FM made Hi Powers under FN licence from 1969-1989, since then they have continued on with their own modified Hi Power designs to include the M90 and M95 Hi powers availiable here in the U.S. As they cost less then Belgium FN Hi Powers they are often excellent deals, love mine.
