I am in the process of buying a 35 to use for competition.
I plan on purchasing a C-More red dot scope and a mount.
Does anyone here have a "THE Accessories" scope mount and if so does it work for you.
I was looking at the Carver mount and the instructions state that you have to "lower the ejection port by .1000" is recommended for reliable ejection." which is not something I want to do.
Also I am shopping for an extended compensated barrel and there are several quality barrels available.
Any suggestions there?

There are one or two very small red/green dot sight sets that fit the factory dovetail, I believe!
I used a "The Accessories" mount with a C-more and it worked fine on my G24C.
Check out the Burris Fast Fire sight. It mounts in the dovetail where the rear sights are. You do not need to modify the gun or buy an expensive mount.
They make a mount for a Glock, it costs around $23. I have one on order for my G35.

If you haven't got the gun yet consider going w/a G34 and shooting 9 major. The reason is mag capacity. I use slide riders, one has a milled in Docter and the other a Fast Fire.
If you're locked into the G35 IT will be perfect for you. :)
Enjor open.

Actually no I haven't bought yet.
I started out wanting the 34 then folks have been trying to change my mind into getting the 35.
The problem they say with the 9mm is shooting steel poppers and plates.
I plan on buying one or the other with the income tax economic check rebate thingy..

A major 9mm, mine is 121gr bullet @ 1400fps, will take down ANY popper. Actually I don't have any problem w/poppers when shooting my G17 using WWB 115gr.
Get you a KKM barrel and a Vanek or triggerkit.com replacement first off, Then some warren seveigny sights and so on and so on.....

great info..
I was looking at new compensated barrels for which ever one I decide to buy as well as a optic.
I was actually looking at the C-More optics either a slide ride or bracket mounted.

Many like the C More, they're too high for my index. I like the Dr, Fast Fire type of slide riders.

great thanx. i will look at those also...
GSSF plates and poppers are calibrated to fall when hit with 9mm 115-gr ammo. They are calibrated before the match and adjusted as necessary.
