Anyone running a C-MORE slide ride on their Glock? I'm wanting to put one on my 34 just wondering about your likes or dislikes. Is it light enough to run with the stock recoil spring? Thanks in advance.
i have 3 glocks with slide rides on a carver competition mount. no problems but i have lowered ejection port on all of them. i wouldn't want one mounted directly to the slide and having to find the dot every time i fired the gun.
Go with a Carver mount. Chasing the dot is a pain.

Thanks I like the looks of the Carver mount. Thats the first time I've seen one. What kind of holster do you use with the Carver mount?

Food for thought. The mini-reflex sights can be mounted forward of the ejection port, and there's enough room on the mounting plate to have a front sight to help find the dot. The front sight is not shown in the pictures, I just added it tonight.

That's a Carver Hunter mount. I cut the mounting plate myself. I got tired of the tube sight blocking ejection and causing malfs, but I'm not really sure the little sights can really hold up to being slammed back and forth with each shot. I will probably get the lower competition mount sideplates sometime in the future.
bobby sells a CR speed holster made to fit the Carver mount

Just asking because I haven't really tried either way. I can't see how it would be any tougher to follow the dot when mounted to the slide as opposed to being attached to a mount on the frame. After all, the slide does go directly back and forward in line with the sights. Is it more difficult to reacquire the dot than regular sights? Maybe I'm missing something?
I'm thinking of going open class, looking for advice on mount/rail to use with the c-more sight, but more importantly, what to hell holster will I need for the setup and where do I get it.
Thanks in advance

Shooter's Connection is a good place to find competition-related equipment.
