View Full Version : SpeedSec 5 competition holster
Anybody out there using one of these holsters? I just purchased one from Midway, it arrived looking good BUT it does NOT fit my G35 worth a hoot. Its tighter than bark on a tree when pushed into the locked position. No instructions came with it so I am not sure what to do to make it usable. Any ideas besides sending it back?:faint:

I tried two different Speedsecs from two different retailers (Midway & Brownells) my 34 (or any of my Glocks for that matter) would not fit into either of them. Sent them both back. A complete waste of my time. They seem to have a problem with Quality control. I would still like one if I knew it would fit. Simple light design and I liked the locking device. Thought about getting the Dremel out but I figured for the money I shouldn't have to. I did email Speedsec directly. I heard back the same day but essentially was told, "If it doesn't fit return it." Gee, thanks for the help.
Bought a Ghost instead. Kind of a clunky, complex setup compared to the Speedsec, buy hey... it works. Also use a Blade-Tech DOH.

I pressed a holster into use that wasn't designed for a Glock. The Glock's trigger guard was too wide for it. Since I wasn't going to shoot this gun in Production division, I just narrowed down the width of the trigger guard a bit. Measure twice...
