I am trying to put together a rig for USPSA Production Class shooting at my local club. I’ll be shooting a G17. Based on my research I am thinking about:
Holster - DOH Dropped & Offset Holster w/Tek-Lok
Mag holders – 4 (or maybe 5?) G-CODE Kydex Single Mag Carriers
Belt – I haven’t found one that I like yet.
Any thoughts and suggestions?
DOH is a great holster and is extremely widely used. One complaint I occasionally hear about them is that tall front sights can drag/hang up on the draw. If I ever break or wear out my current holster I'll probably get a DOH.
I don't know much about the G-CODE mag pouches. I use TKW's.
I recommend the over/under style competition belts like the CRSpeed or Double Alpha. They make gearing up so much faster, and your gear is always in the same place. I wore out a Bianchi Accumold, then went to a Wilderness Combat Shooters Model belt before I made the leap to a Double Alpha and have never looked back. The Wilderness CSM is an extremely sturdy belt, but you can't beat the convenience of the double-belt setups.
I shoot production with a G34. My set up is a CR Speed belt with a Comp-Tac belt holster and 4 Safariland 771 mag pouches. The holster and belt are awesome. The mag pouches are great, but for me they sit just a little to high for my liking.

I shoot Production w/a cheap U Mikes Kydex holster, a Fobus and a UM double mag holder. Carry one extra mag in your front pocket and a Barney in the back. Belts are of little importance. I use a old USAF belt.
I wouldn't spend much on a holster/mag holders. The Blade Tech molded or UM work fine.
