What 9mm mags to use in my G23 when I use a 9mm conversion barrel?

Which mags? G17 or G19 to use with my G23 with a 9mm conversion barrel?

The G19 mags will sit flush (compact 19 and compact 23). The G17 will fit as well but stick out. I have the G18, G17, G17+2 and G19 for my 40-9 conversion.
