Some time ago, a member was discussing the idea of different styles of weapons cases.
Another member brought up the idea of soft side guitar cases.
This reminded me of the Coffin Case with the $47 flea-bay Behringer Strat like beast in the attic.
I decided to take a few pics of the trial fit,.....
Whatcha think?!

Not bad. How's the weight balance? I used to carry my AK-47 around in a soft sided guitar case. It was a big hit at the range.

It really makes a difference on the size of the gun. I took some pics of my 20 inch in a coffin case for the guy who was thinking about it. Full stock service size rifle is a bit too big to fit.

The Coffin Cases by design are ballanced to the rear, or large end.
Seems to carry quite a bit like a guitar. I may work on this a bit, could be a viable hard case if, it were reconfigured inside.
I can carry my AR carbine in a soft "gig" bag all day long in the mall

I see no humor in that statement.

I don't think he was trying to be funny.
Sportsmans Warehouse has a rifle case that looks like a guitar case. I have thought about getting one, you could carry you EBR any place in that.
I think the shock factor is high and It would be fun to take to the range.

The main point here is this,.....
Wishing to use a "non standard" looking rifle case for transport to and from the range. A neighbor seeing you with a "guitar" case is less noticable than a rifle case.
WAY too weird for me, but when the vampires start attacking i'll be ALL over it!:couch:

One of the many great things about the AR is that it's so easy to pop apart into two halves. Do that and you can carry it in most anything, from a tennis bag to a toolbox.
