Just bought a kydex iwb holster have ?

I just bought a RM IWB kydex holster for my glock 26 and it has a crimson laser on it and I am a lefty. Question; The laser is on the right side of the pistol and when holstered is up against my body. The kydex holster has a sweat guard on the same side as the laser and I wanted to know can I heat the kydex with a heat gun and conform it to the laser? Of course I would use a pen to mold the arch in the sweat guard. Or what else can I do to make holstering easier?
