The guy over at gunblast.com really seems to be big on the DPM reduction system. I've also noticed that they advertise on his site. Hmmmm. Anyway, I'm thinking of puting this on a Glock 23. Anybody try this on thier Glock? It looks like just another double recoil system to me.
"This system works due to the multi spring intricate rod (three springs) and controls the functionality of the gun. The third spring which is contained within the rod controls the movement of the slide so it never rams on the frame independently of the power of ammo, protects the firearm, reduces the recoil and improves the firing speed."
I tried the Sprinco and the odd thing with the three mercury balls in it, I always forget the name.
It feels slightly different but the difference cannot be witnessed by the timer. In comparison, a ported barrel gave a noticaebly increased speed for three different shooters.

hey guys,
just happened to catch this thread while searching for my old reviews of the DPM system and have 2 comments (just my subjective experience of course, no shot timers involved but the felt recoil and muzzle flip were greatly reduced, imo):
A) the DPM system works as advertised, especially if you get the full system with the magnet, HUGE improvement over stock setup on my G20, but that said, and in keeping with Pz's comment..
B) i just switched to a really neat little porting system that's the only one i've seen that's safe for defensive use and is as much an improvement over the DPM as the DPM was over stock, so if you're at all open to porting your gun i'd give it a good look.
here's my range reports from the DPM:
Rod only: http://glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=443880
with Magnet: http://glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=460048
Magnet w/ special heavier springs: http://glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=655009
DPM Porn: http://glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=706213
and the Keeper (porting): http://glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=896853
so there's my layperson's take on both of those systems, currently using the Keeper and Keepin' it, hehe, but the DPM was the best thing i'd found til now and i'd been using it happily for awhile now and it would go back on if i ever stopped using the porting. the porting rocks, tho..
