View Full Version : Lady K
Saw an unusual one at a gun show Saturday. A "Lady K" It was an early black k-9 with "Lady K" scroll engraved where the normal model number would be. It came in a red (instead of black) plastic case with matching serial number on the label. Anyone else seen this or other strange variants from the factory?
This came up a little while ago on this forum. I believe the answer was that the Lady K just comes with a lighter recoil spring, making it easier to rack.

Yeah probably has a real nice rack.
There's a "Lady Smith" too, and I'm not sure what it means either, beside the fact that it's a badass looking revolver with wood grips but says "Lady Smith" on it. So why can't the Kahr be an easier rack for everyone, if it works as well that way? Why just women? Why I gotta have "Lady" Kahr on my slide, to get a nice rack, you know? Or wait, I could just get a new spring right? If so, then N.M. on the rant. No seriously I want the spring that maximizes reliability, not ease of rack. I don't know where that point is, but I HOPE that's the stock R.S.
