I got my g19/23 AACK and yesterday and shot over 1000 rounds out of it with only ammo related malfunctions. The thing even ate federal 550rd valuepack:50cal: All in all I am very happy with my advantage arms 22 conversion kit.
Yes, it is a great setup. I've only put a few hundred rounds through it but I can tell it is a keeper.

I've had mine for about six months and put about 1500 rounds through it!!! I have the 17 / 22 LE kit and seems to never have problems with cci mini mags 40 grain. I've tried other brands of ammo and cci has not had any failures yet, of the 1500 rounds 1000 of them were cci. fiocchi and remington both gave me lots of stovepipes and fte's.

Nice looking g17/22 kit. Are you planning on keeping the stock sights? I'm not a big fan of glock factory sights but still unsure what to do. I may just slap some meprolight or trijicons on the g23/19 kit and call it a day. However I'm afraid the point of aim will be way to different from my g23's slide thus defeating the purpose.

I have the kit for the 17/22 and I put a set of Meprolight's on it. The POA is perfect if you use the combat aiming convention that the POI is the center of the area covered by the front dot.

+1 on mach 2 tatical
Got mine off of GunBroker for my G30.
The kit comes with a warning about using Remmington but it ate up the valuepak with only 2 FTE's and both of them I think were caused by not being careful on loading the mag...
Get one, you will save a bunch AND be able to use your existing frame without the recoil.

They say no Remington Thunderbolts and Federal ammunition. They suggest using Remington Golden bullets 550 round value pack ammo and CCI mini mags
Must have put over 6,000 rds so far and its a great way to get the chicks to love guns ...
then they wanna fire that .40 when i swap the upper :)

I had that same one that you had which I gave it to the owner and told him this was SHAZ product for the AA ...
You should use Rem. Golden bullets which loves to eat it ! I never had any issues with this product.

+1 on the remington golden bullets or suggested CCI mini mags. Also make sure your kit is clean and well lubed. It has lubing directions on the orange card

i just got a kit from another GT member.. I picked up a box of 550 Rem. Golden Bullets from wallyworld.. the specs are below from the back of the box..
Cartridge: 22 long riffle
Bullet Weight: 36 grains
Bullet Style Plated Hollow Point
Velocity: 1280 fps at muzzle 1010fps at 100yd
Energy: 131 ft-lb at muzzle 82ft-lb at 100yd
Drop: -1.8" at 100yd sighted at 50yd
i have a question as im going to test shoot tonight.. anything specific i need to be aware of in cleaning/lubrication or is it just similar to glock barrel/slide? i didnt get any manual/card.. atleast i didnt see any.. i printed the PDF from AA's website but its a lil vague

I noticed that the Kits definitely run better when clean. I basically clean mine just like a glock's slide. As for lubing advantage arms says to place one drop of oil on each of the slide reils. Place one drop of oil on each flat side of the barrel (3 sides) and rub it with your finger, and place one drop of oil on the underneath side of the silde on that rib.
I normally use more then just one drop, but not to much. I also always carry my cleaning rod with a jag on it in my back pocket because I have alot of failure to ejects due to the nature of the 22lr rim. Have fun, I am bringing my kit out tonight too!

Odd that AA says to use 40grain and then these Golden bullets turn out being 36 grain.
I picked up a box of 550 golden bullets at walmart. We'll see how it works out.

The 36 grain Remington Golden Bullets work just fine. So far, I've run over 1000 of those through mine and I've had 2 failures to fire and no failures to eject. Mine also likes CCI Mini-Mags (solid and hollow-points) and Winchester Wildcats.
The total round count on mine is approaching 2000 and I haven't cleaned it yet. :wow: Whenever it starts giving me trouble I'll clean it.
