was a colorado cops duty gun from back yon....the gun is very good shape and i just cant bring myself to name the price i paid, but it was very low....the guys new dept. has issued him new gear except a gun which he has to buy himself, so out with the old so he could buy some new.....
anyway, im not really fond of K frame .357mags, but the price was very right.
now my delima, ive been wanting a glock 26 or a s&w 2" model 63 for a long time.....what to do with the model 66.....had it been a 2.5" gun i would keep it...
cant post pix yet, wife has camera at school....will do so later.
BTW i have a 4" model 13 that my wife uses as a house gun loaded with the f.b.i. load, my only .357s loaded with such are my 681 and my 640-1's.

I wasnt much on the K-frames, but if it is pinned barrel and recessed cylinders, I'm all over those. Right now, I'm buying any N-frames I can get my hands on.
Local add in our buck-saver has a 66-1 no box/papers 4" for $400 otd. $350 I'd chew it over some more, $300 I'd already have the thing.
I'm really torn. I'd like to buy it, but I think I caught EBR disease. I just don't know.

I picked up a 4" M66 about a year ago for $260, and a 2.5" M66 around the same time for $360.

My local dealer just got the three 4" M65's I ordered in, and I brought one of them home today.

Nice find, CWBee.
K frames are the schizit.
I'm jealous! I had 66-2 and sold it because I'm dumb. I miss that thing, it was a beauty.

They don't. Both are -5's and were mid to late 90's production. They're also both round butt frames. AFAIK, the 2.5" barrel length was never offered in a square butt configuration. I'll get around to picking up a P&R M66 one of these days.
Both have DA triggers ~9 pounds after changing the trigger rebound spring.
