I'm thinking about putting an Eotech on my AR along with my night vision monocular... so I suppose I'm probably looking at either a 551 or a 552.

I understand that there is an "A65" that means something, and also there are some kind of revisions??? I've heard about a revision "F". Can one of you knowledgeable folk interpret this for me?

Thanks in advance.

Jerry.

a65 is the "big"(65MOA) circle with the "little" (1MOA)circle in the center of it. I forget what the revision f is but its marked on the newer Eotech I think

Revision F is Good to go, But I would caution that the "N" cell battery versions have had problems with short battery life.

Stick with the 512/552 AA version. With lithium batteries they have a respectable run time

on setting 12 aa batts = 1,000hrs; n batts=200hrs; 123 batts=1100hrs all lithium batteries

get the F revision which is the latest and unless you really want the smaller size get the AA battery model, batteries are cheaper and easier to find. And unless you plan on getting night vision then the 552 holds nothing over the 512 for you.

NV is in the picture, so it will have to be the 551 or 552 I suppose.

Thanks,

Jerry.

You meant to say 'For NV I'm getting the 551 or 552."

Yes, I certainly did mean 551 or 552. I edited my last post to correct it. Thank you, thank you.

Jerry.
