View Full Version : Which Combo Would You Choose>?
Getting ready to put Advantage Tactical sights on my Glock. The factory ships with what they consider the best combo. That's yellow rear, red front.

I kinda like the white rear and yellow front.
I tend to focus on the front sight, and like it large and bright.
What works for you? Quite curious! :wavey:
Dawson Precision does the same thing--places the red sight up front.
This is the inverse of what's done with night sights--green always goes to the front, as it appears brightest to the human eye-brain. :freak:
My AmeriGlo set has a green lamp up front, and yellow lamps at the rear.
To follow the night sight formula for your FOs, in a 3-light set up, you'd put the red FOs in back, and the green FO up front...
I've never seen "white" FO sights...
My Dawson Precision sights on my G17 have a fiber optic up front only. The rear sights are flat-black serrated. The red works fine here, since there are no rear lamps at all. That front sight really "pops" in that black notch!

I use TFO sights. Setup green front and yellow rear. Very easy to see and focus on front sight. No problems , overcast, sunny or complete darkness.
