My G26 came with the stock sites, but I would love to have night sites. Has anyone sent their slide to Glock for them to install their night sites? If so, did it go smoothly? Are you happy with the results?

On my original green machine, aka G17. The first model ever sold, I sent it in for night sights installation and it was back in less than 10 days. On my newer, finger groove model G17, it was back in 9 days. Plus, on my original G17, they performed a safety inspection and replaced all internal parts, free of charge before shipping it back to me. I have to say, MOST excellent service.
I would never have Glock install night sights on my guns. They crimp them on, instead of screwing them on. Also, IMO, the Glock brand night sights are only 1 step above PT night sights, which are the worst brand going.

No problem here! I install my own! http://dot11net.net/~jiml/CHLCheers.gif
Get them local or buy them and install yourself! The cost of next day air shipping will darn near pay for the MGW tool!

Glock will install Trijicons with screw on front sight.
I had them put a set on my G17 and G19.
You have to ask for the Trijicons with screw on front.
I think I paid $72. and they checked, cleaned and replaced any parts that needed to be replaced or upgraded for free. They also payed for return shipping.
Gota love it!
If Glock installs your sights and they fall off Glock will fix it for free.

I've had Glock installed nightsights on Glocks that are now into the thousands of rounds fired with not a lick of a problem.
