LGS has a P45 at a bargain price, it is old stock and they are looking to move. What is the good and bad about the P45, if any? Seeking user feedback prior to purchase. I already own and love the PM9 and the MK40 and am anxious to add a P45 if they are as good as the other models.
How does the P45 compare to the G36? I've heard good and bad about the G36...with all else being equal, which is the better buy?

Mine is great. Carry it every day. The only drawback is polygonal rifling.

Why is polygonal riling bad, besides the fact that you can't use lead?

ive sold a few p45s and they are doing fine, had some extractor problems with one but replaced extractor and it fine now. most of us that are old 1911 shooters buy our bullets cast and in bulk and kahrs werent designed for cast bullets, so i dont shoot one much in 45...regards rick

That's the reason.

I had problems with reliability in my P45. Other than that... a nice pistol. I really wanted this gun to work and become my CCW, but I couldn't count on it functioning all the time.

Thanks for the many replies, I opted for the G36 instead. I really like my PM9 and MK40, but also needed a compact and reliable 45 ACP so the G36 won out this go around.
