Presbyopia = farsightedness resulting from a loss of elasticity of the crystalline lens with age.
Went to the range today with my G19. I did not have a problem before with the G21 using my usual shooting eyeglasses. Today, I had a difficult time maintaining a focus on the front sight of the G19, probably because it was a few inches shorter, suddenly I had to push the gun away from me to maintain foxus and my arm was not long enough. Front sight was still blurred.
Getting old is not pretty. Will visit Eyecutter tomorrow and have new shooting glasses made. Nothing like an Opthalmologist who's a shooter to boot in getting shooting eyeglasses.
